PREDATOR: PURGATORY
IP EST. 06.19.25 | FILM CONCEPT
This idea was born when my buddy from high school randomly called me to say he had a vision of a Cenobite from Hellraiser hunting a Predator. The whole thing came flooding to my mind– a complete remake of 1987's PREDATOR, but tweaked with a wild crossover angle.

SUMMARYOn the remote, ritualistic hunting grounds of an alien jungle moon, a team of elite Predator warriors land to investigate the failure of a previous hunt. What they find is far worse than a lost trophy: signs of panic, mutilated Yautja corpses, and a haunting absence of final battle rites.
As they track the source, they encounter bizarre phenomena— time distortions, twisted mutilation patterns, and enemies that don’t bleed. The jungle war becomes a waking nightmare as the team is hunted by beings who do not respect the code… because they are from somewhere else. One by one, each Predator falls; taken by the Cenobites, extra-dimensional entities brought into this world when a reckless young Predator, driven by glory and obsession, activated a mysterious puzzle box taken from a human trophy case. What they unleashed is not just an enemy... it is a punishment. An intrusion from Hell. And the greatest dishonor imaginable: a hunt abandoned in fear.In the film’s final act, the last Predator— wounded, burning, stripped of gear— retrieves the Lament Configuration and willingly activates it. He is transported to a Cenobite realm, where he stalks Pinhead and his ilk in a ritualistic final confrontation. This is no longer a hunt for sport… it is a battle for the soul of the Yautja.THEMES + TONE–Action Survivalist–
